The Time Had Come For An Update
Every now and again it’s simply time for a change, time to upgrade and get with the times. Our studio has served us well for the past 11+ years but there was simply no denying anymore that it was looking a bit… dated.
Here’s a before picture.

Out With The Old, In With The New
We started with a simple concept: Bright, clean, and modern. A bit of mid-century design mixed with functional furniture that could be used for studio shoots.
After multiple samples and back and forth trips to the paint store, we settled on Sherwin Williams “North Star” for the wall color. it’s a calming, cool, blue-grey, that works as a perfect background for our new lighter pallet.
Next we built a fun little accent wall behind the sofa. the natural finish on the wood continues with the light and bright theme while at the same time adding a nice natural texture to the room.
The furniture is meant to be functional and simplistic, nothing to flashy or fancy.
A few trips to Home Goods for accessories and the transformation was complete!

Very nice, spacious and comfortable looking! Great job!
Thank you!!!
I like the bamboo wall. Reminds me of another installation you once did. 😉
Ahh, yes, the boo-bam. Is that still alive?
