We have been so lucky and blessed to have such beautiful weather on our wedding dates this year! Maybe I shouldn’t even say it out loud in case I curse the next wedding! 😉 Well there was no luck needed for this sweet couple who are ever so happy in love with each other!

We started our “getting ready” photos with Justin, the groom, along with his friends and men of the family. It was nice to see the dads of the wedding get into the spirit of being photographed. I don’t think they minded it too much. These men looked pretty handsome while striking a pose at Penn State’s Lion Shrine. Most especially Mr. Groom and his Ring Bearer, whom we couldn’t get enough of with his newsboy cap and bow tie!

While we were doing photos of the guys, Meredith, our bride, and her girls were nice and comfy at the Nittany Lion Inn. When we arrived, the girls all donned their beautiful matching silk robes. I so love this trend! The bridesmaids’ dresses were Penn State navy blue and resembled Meredith’s beautiful gown with the lace and button detail. Oh ladies, this bridal gown!!! I think Meredith fell in love with this dress for the same reason we did! So much so, that her accents and table decor at the reception reminded us of her gown. Very classic, vintage, and chic!

After their photos, I took a trolly ride with the girls to Penn State’s Arboretum where their ceremony was to take place. The Arboretum is really nice year round and offers a cool place for a wedding ceremony at the overlook pavilion. The ceremony itself was both beautiful visually and in spirit. Song of Solomon (Song of Songs) was their choice scripture for the wedding and if you have ever read it in the Bible, it is a book of true romance! God is love and there was much love present during the day! 🙂

We took a photography tour with the newly weds and their bridal party at different spots at the Arboretum and Penn State Campus. A very special place for Justin and Meredith was their tailgating spot. Almost a year ago we had taken a photo of them at their spot during their engagement session. It was a great wedding inspirational moment and sweet photo of our couple, now man and wife, holding a framed photo of their engagement photo while getting a wedding photo at this exact memorable place. I think this tradition will be continued for years to come! 🙂

We now come to the final chapter of the wedding day, the reception (a.k.a. party time!), at General Potter Farm. It seemed like the whole wedding was out on the dance floor with Bachelor Boys Band’s greatest cover songs! We were able to capture awesome dancing moments, cake cutting, and that fun and traditional bouquet and garter toss! Plus, we had a few minutes to pull the bride and groom out for some glowing light and “thank you” photos. Speaking of thank you’s, all said and done, we mustn’t forget these ladies, Holly and Kacey from H&K Events, who were working hard behind the scenes and making sure Justin and Meredith had an amazing day! Last, but not least, the “icing on the wedding cake” moment (pun intended) and closing of the night was Justin and Meredith’s sparkle send off! What an amazing day! Meredith and Justin, may God bless your marriage and may you always remember your happiest moments together! 🙂
