This was the first time we had the pleasure of photographing inside the old “Match Factory” building in Bellefonte, PA where the American Philatelic Society is now located. Malinda and Christian were drawn to the architecture, history, and charm for a place to celebrate their special day. In fact, our bride and groom had already tied the knot two years prior to their wedding day. Being that they are both Marines, it was challenging to schedule a wedding while traveling and serving our country. God bless the men and women who serve and protect! Though initially they had a quick courthouse marriage, Malinda and Christian had planned to have an official celebration of their wedding with family and friends on a later date.
Speaking of Marines, Malinda is hands down the most gorgeous Marine bride around! The military life must run deep in Christian’s family too, since three out of his four brothers are also serving our country. And may I add they made some handsome and crazy fun groomsmen to boot! There’s just something about a man in uniform…am I right, ladies?! 😉
In the end, Malinda and Christian’s “second” wedding day was well worth the wait! There was laughter, beauty, happy tears, dancing…lots of dancing, donuts…yes donuts (Yum!), and many many tender loving moments…more than we could count! Thank you, Christian and Malinda, for choosing us to capture your special day, and may your marriage grower stronger with every passing year!
