This was our first time at The Nature Inn Lodge in Bald Eagle State Forest.  It was another hot, HOT and sunny wedding but the location was beautiful.  The lodge sits high up on the hillside and overlooks the lake, a fantastic background for a wedding ceremony.  Cassandra and Billy were great sports about the heat and even took some extra time to go into the woods for some photos among the trees.  The wedding was a bit smaller than most that we do and Cassandra didn’t think there would be much dancing at the reception so she asked us to man her “photobooth” setup and take some photos for her.  It turned out to be a great idea and the guests really seemed to enjoy themselves.

I think I can speak for both Andrea and myself when I say that we are hoping for some cooler weather coming up for the rest of our summer weddings.  But, despite the heat, we got some great shots and hope that Billy and Cassandra love them.  – Joel
